Light

• Bright light is best.

• A few hours of gentle morning sun is helpful.

• Acclimate gradually to stronger sunlight to prevent leaf scorch.

Water

• Let the soil dry out completely between waterings.

• Water thoroughly, then let excess water drain.

• Water less often in winter.

   

  • Soil and pot

  Use cactus or succulent soil mixed with extra perlite or pumice. Choose a pot with drainage holes to prevent root rot.
  • Temperature

  Normal warm indoor temperatures are ideal. Protect it from frost and cold drafts; bring it inside before freezing weather.
